Ivory Tusk Bar
SM Collective was engaged as the lead PR for a large-scale renovation of an iconic Brisbane bar, the Woolly Mammoth. The generous split level bar was turned into two spaces with a new offering being created on the ground level called Ivory Tusk. Using SM Collective’s established media contacts and well throughout and executed media materials, the majority of Brisbane’s major media publicised Ivory Tusk.
Public relations strategy, media liaison & influencer database creation - gaining significant media coverage.
SM Collective was hired to manage the PR for the launch of Ivory Tusk, as well as provide a list of influencers and key people to attend the launch party. Leveraging SM Collective’s strong media database and pitching a well-written, news worthy press release, coverage was obtained not only in many publications, but it was also shared on the relevant media’s social media accounts and in EDMs – generating far more traction than just a media article alone.
